Windy [19 Oct 2007|08:24am]
The wind seems to have stirred things up a bit. It kept me up last night and it created all kinds of mischief in my neighborhood.

I went for a walk yesterday and was really enjoying all the sights and sounds when I heard a power saw at an unusual hight. When I looked up I saw two guys cutting up a branch on the roof of a house. The tree that had lost its branch looked like it was break dancing in the backyard and these guys were on the roof with power tools. Hummm. Seemed a bit risky to me.

I kept moving because I still had errands to run.

As I was heading home I crossed paths with a very agitated raccoon. He had just crossed NE 45th by Dick's and he was wandering up and down a side street looking kind of lost.

I don't think I have ever seen a 'coon wandering around in the middle of the day in Seattle. He probably did not sleep well either.

Looks like the wind has cleared out all the clouds. Today already looks like it is going to be a gorgeous fall day.

Proposition [10 Oct 2007|08:19pm]
I had an interview today. Yay, me!

As I was leaving the interview in Lynnwood a gentleman in a truck waved at me and motioned that I could get into his truck. So nice to offer me a ride. I never knew that people in Lynnwood could be so nice.

I shook my head and finished walking to the bus stop.

The bus ride of about two hours and 4 transfers was what I expected and I felt the need for sanitation. Bus drivers are awesome. It is a hard job and I praise those who can do it.

Find a Job or Procrastinate [06 Sep 2007|11:36am]
So far procrastination has won out. I helped malixe move, balanced my checkbook, applied for a job, updated my resume, organized the silverware drawer, looked for work, got a local library card so I can check out design reference books, and now I am stuck with the task of buckling down and getting the awesome wonderful graphic design job or maybe I should vacuum.

Well at least I am starting to set up the live journal that malixe blessed/cursed me with. I have been interested in starting one for a while but too afraid to share my thoughts in this way.

I may not post often due to actually having to find a job, housing, a place to work out, spending time with family and friends, and getting reacquainted with Seattle. I have a much longer to do list that will have to wait until I have found employment.

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome.
